Jaylib - The Heist (Official Video) - Dilla Day 2014!

On  this day 8 years ago, the world lost a Hip Hop icon & super producer J Dilla. Feb. 7th has now become known as Dilla day, worldwide. Some see this as an exploitation of Dilla's name and legacy. Heads like me see this as homage, to a man so influential, with his signature "off beat" style of his later work, which would influence countless producers, including the man Dilla worked with on the Jaylib album "Champion Sound" the one and only Madlib. Oddly enough, super producer Nujabes was also born on Feb. 7th 1974 (Dilla day is celebrated on Dilla's birthday) & Legendary Bronx Mc, Big Pun passed away on Feb. 7th 2000, all 3 have sinced passed! Crazy scenario going on here. I could go on for days about this amazing musician, so I leave you with the official video for the track "The Heist" R.I.P. DILLA...You are missed!
