Cypress Hill anniversary of self titled release

22 years ago today marks the release of the self titled debut (and magnificently genius) album from Cypress Hill (8-13-91) This album was to be heard on every corner, in every hood in America. With the help of Yo Mtv Raps, it found it's way to suburbia. I was 13 at the time, in a neighborhood infested with Cholos & Crips, who this album appealed to, both groups. I can't believe it's been 22 years! Hip Hop was in the middle of it's "Golden Era" at this point, where just about anything released was a flavorful joint, East or West Coast. I had to pay my homage! Peep the "Latin Lingo" vid from the album. Peace!
