This excellent Hip Hop album, Mecca And The Soul Brother (another way to say Pete Rock & CL Smooth) was released 21 yrs. ago today! (6-9-92) It was praised by many big name MC's at the time. Pete Rock had already perfected a particular sound. Without this album, no Hip Hop anthem T.R.O.Y. would ever be played by every true school dj from here to west bubble fuck. Ha!! So I present to you the T.R.O.Y. vid also, for throwback reasons.
